Rene is survived by his wife Hilda, children Ivan and Issette, and three amazing granddaughters Hailey-Marie, Heidi-Renee, and Ilani-Diaz the newest addition to the family. Rene was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the U.S. when he was 13 or "La Yuma" as he called it.
