Yvonne N
Allbritton
May 19, 1943 — Jun 26, 2026
Yvonne lived a fulfilling, memorable life to the very fullest, caring for all who crossed her path no matter the familiarity. Born and raised in Miami before moving to Hialeah, she was adopted by her parents Naomi and Clarence Nash. In the year of 1960, Yvonne gave birth to her beloved daughter Angela and shortly after met the love of her life, Floyd Ivan Allbritton, in 1962 at his auto repair shop “Allbritton’s Automotive” in the Miami area. The same year, she started off her career as a Service Representative at Southern Bell, the third generation in her family to do so, in Miami off of Biscayne Boulevard. She worked for the company for a dedicated 30 years climbing up the ladder to a management position before retiring in 1992. Her daughter carried on the tradition and picked up her line of work in 1979 as well, marking four generations of family to work for Southern Bell. Soon after beginning her career, Yvonne married Floyd on May 10th, 1963 during her lunch break and she didn’t come back for the rest of her work day. The two of them shared a long and lovely 42 years of marriage together before Floyd’s passing in August of 2005. In 1967, Yvonne made her permanent move to the Hialeah area with her family, where she would live and lay down the foundations of her legacy and moved into her home on West 15th Lane. In her time living on that block, she would host numerous block parties that all of her neighbors would show up to, none bearing to miss them. She had a powerfully selfless and kind soul, the type you’d only ever get to see once in a blue moon. Yvonne prided herself heavily in being an animal lover of all kinds, being the one people turned to when they found an injured bird or a stray animal in need of a home. Her love for both people and animals alike held no bounds, for she always tried to be a positive influence towards those in her life. Through the years, Yvonne would never been seen without one of her many dogs by her side when walking the neighborhood block, living her life how she pleased as she greeted all in her path. She would never pass up the opportunity to reach out and make a stranger’s day with a small conversation, making a powerful mark in the lives of many. Yvonne is preceded in death by her Husband, Floyd Ivan Allbritton, her stepdaughter Ethel Faye Brock, and her numerous pets. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Lobaina and her stepson Ivan Allbritton. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Tim Cullen, Wendy Hutchins, Jamie Pitman, Kimberly Sammons, Eddie Allbritton, Gordon Allbritton, Stacey Holden, and Maximilian Lobaina as well as 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
