Ysora C. Pardo, 93, of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away on October 28, 2020.

I never see birds in my yard, maybe because I feed the squirrels and always have squirrels running around. This morning I was looking out, and a mocking bird flew in and pitched itself on top of my fence. So I decided to see what a mocking bird symbolizes.

This is what I read:

The mocking bird represents the inability for anyone to kill your spirit. It represents faith, integrity, grace and universal love. In the wild we see the mocking bird safeguarding their family with fierceness. A true symbolism of safety , and family unity.

This was our mom. Not only was she the matriarch of our family, she was the one we could all count on.

She will be missed beyond words. Now we take comfort in knowing that she lives beyond this realm and is standing beside her family that made it there before her. This includes my father, whom many simply knew as Papi. May they all rest in peace and continue to watch over us as angels.
