Winton Ebanks

Winton Ebanks left this world on July 14, 2022 at the age of 47. He was born  in Guanaja, Honduras on January 29,1975 to Julia Castro and Ricardo Ebanks. He went to Cristobal Colon primary school in Guanaja and stopped after 6th grade. To provide, he spent his youth working on various fishing boats. At age 19, and during one of Winton's breaks from sea, he met the love of his life, Majelle Ebanks. They remained married for a wonderful 28 years until his passing.

He found his career in aviation as a chrome plater. He later earned a management position at his company for which he was truly proud of. He could not believe that someone like him, with limited education, could turn out to be so successful and accomplished in life.

Winton enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as spending time with his family, watching his favorite dramas and cowboy movies, gardening and fishing. He truly made people feel welcome and at home and would always lend a hand out to those in need of his help.

He is survived by his wife and three children Winton, Nicol, and Shawn Ebanks. He is also survived by his mother, siblings and countless cousins.

Winton will forever be in our hearts and his memories will never fade. Heaven has gained another angel and we live knowing he is watching over us.

Celebration of Life will be held at Miami Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church on Tuesday July 26th, 2022 at 6:30pm.

Viewing and Burial to be held the following day on Wednesday July 27th, 2022 at Vista Funeral Home. Visiting hours begin at 10am following the burial at 2pm.
