William Edwin Vargo Jr.

William Edwin Vargo, Jr., "Bill," 67, of Miami, Florida passed away Sunday, November 4th, 2018 in his home in Cutler Bay.

Born January 1st, 1951, the loving son of William Edwin Vargo, Sr. and Helen Cassimus Vargo. Bill grew up in the Grapeland Heights area of Miami, graduating from Miami High School in 1970 where he was a member of the football team, the Titans and a Sweetheart of Lucians.

Bill wed his childhood sweetheart, Lydia Cleon Garcia, and fathered six children.

He is survived by his children Michelle, Matthew, Meghan, Monique, and Melanie and was predeceased by his son, Michael, who passed away June 8th, 2005.

Bill is also survived by his brother Mark, sister Mary, nieces, nephews and extended family. Bill was an accomplished carpenter by trade with an exceptional work ethic; he was an honest man, a loving father, husband, brother and friend to all. He will be remembered as a big-hearted man of integrity, compassion, courage, respect for others, an enthusiastic patriot and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
