It is with great sadness that the family of William Daniel Lamont announces his
passing after an ongoing illness, on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the age of 87
years. William, fondly known as "Bill," was born and raised in Michigan. He
proudly served his country, during the Korean War, in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to
1953. After his military tour, he and his brother became owners of a thriving milk
delivery business with Wilson Dairy, acquiring multiple routes during this time.
William then relocated to South Florida, in 1976, where he continued on his
successful entrepreneurial path, best known for his proprietorship of Hialeah
Bowling Lanes and the renowned Casanovas Nightclub in Hialeah.
William will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda and his children, Vickie
Huber (Bill), William R.R. Lamont (Donna), Jennifer Lamont, Kerry Jagdeosingh
(AJ), Wendy Chambers (Bruce), and Lisa Jomolca. William will also be forever
remembered by his brother Robert Lamont (Paula),Sister in law June Lamont, his 18 grandchildren, and 17
great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Michael Lamont and his
brother Ronald Lamont.
