Virginia M.  Marchetta

The beloved daughter, sister, mother, cousin, aunt and friend to many; born on September 25, 1931 passed away on January 15, 2023. Raised in Brooklyn, New York until Virginia married and moved to Long Island. Eventually settling  in Miami Lakes; where she lived for the past fifty years. Virginia is survived by  her daughter, Maryann and son,  Arthur, daughter-in-law,  Leah and the apple of her eye , Nicholas her only grandchild, and  many nieces and nephews.

Although her time on this earth was  short; she will always be in the memory of those she touched.  Virginia had the ability to be were ever she was needed on short notice to laugh, talk, cry and offer comfort to those in need.  Virginia also prepared some of the greatest Italian meatballs ever eaten . Unfortunately, she was not generous with the recipe for fear her meatballs were duplicated outside her kitchen. Her smile, calm demeanor and good nature will be missed. We all wish you Godspeed on your new voyage. Go in peace and free of the pain you endured at the end .
