Victoria Juana Cruz

Victoria Juana Cruz, 85, of Miami, FL, passed away peacefully, on June 4, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Miami, Fl. She was born on November 28, 1938 to her late parents, Natalia Nadal and Jose Antonio Nadal, in Puerto Padre, a municipality and town in Las Tunas Province of Cuba. "Onelia", as she was fondly called by her mother, family and friends came to the United States on the "Freedom Flights" on April of 1966 from Havana, Cuba, with her Husband Teodoro Cruz, and her two sons, Teodoro J. Cruz Jr, and Ernesto Cruz. She lived all her life in Miami. She dedicated over 25 years of service to IFCO, Infection Footwear Corp. in Hialeah, FL.

She was a highly devoted wife, loving daughter, beloved mother and nurturing grandmother to her two beloved granddaughters Alyssa and Annette, whom she cared for throughout their growing years.  Likewise, she loved fully, cared for, and tended to many family members throughout her life.  Victoria was a non-practicing Catholic who worshiped and attended church at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Miami. She is survived by her sons, Teodoro and Ernesto, her daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Adelaida and David, and her granddaughters, Alyssa and Annette.


Services for Victoria J. Cruz will be held at Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Vista Funeral Home, 14200 NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. A wake will take place on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the burial following on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, at 10:30 am.
