Theresa Steffans Wilson

Theresa (Terri) Ellen Steffans was born November 9 th , 1958 to Judson & Patricia Steffans at Doctors
Hospital in Coral Gables, FL. She was the second of three children, her older sister Deborah, and younger
brother Judson. She attended Dade County schools and graduated from Hialeah-Miami Lakes High
School in 1976.
She worked for various companies as an Accounting Specialist, most notable of these was Winn Dixie.
She met and married Ricardo Nieves in 1977. Terri was blessed to have 3 sons, Ricardo II, Joseph, and
Timothy, and she loved them dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest son Rick, and
her brother Judson. Terri always had a compassionate and serving heart. Prior to, and then later through
her adolescent sons, she would provide a safe haven for countless at-risk teens. She believed that no
child, young or old, should be left out in the world alone. Terri was highly regarded by many and was
affectionately referred to as MOMZ.
She married Nathan Wilson in 2006 and the two moved to Palm Coast, FL. There Terri was baptized as a
Jehovah's Witness and has spent her life seeking honest hearted people who have a desire to learn
more about the Bible. She passed away peacefully on September 27th , 2022 at HCA Florida Woodmont
Hospital in Tamarac, FL.
Terri is survived by her husband, Nathan; her sister Deborah; and her sons Joseph (Sandra) and Timothy
(Caity). She also leaves many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a whole host of friends and family
who loved and admired her. We look forward to seeing her again at a time when her Heavenly Father
will 'long for the work of His hands'. Rest in peace now, precious Terri, your pain and suffering has
ended!
