Steven was a pillar of strength and kindness, a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Judi Calabrese. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories filled with laughter and love. As a father to Natalee and Tony Calabrese, he was a guiding presence, ever dependable, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear. His pride and joy were undoubtedly his grandchildren: Harlee, Micah, Luca, Braelynn, and Leo. They were the light of his life, each moment spent with them a cherished treasure that brought immeasurable happiness to his days.
Known for his big heart and larger-than-life spirit, Steven was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His generosity knew no bounds, matched only by his stubborn yet endearing nature. He possessed a brilliant sense of humor that could brighten any room and was the dependable rock his family leaned on through thick and thin. Steven’s presence was a gift, a unique force of light and love that enriched every life he touched.
Beyond his family, Steven enjoyed simple pleasures that reflected his vibrant spirit. He loved the thrill of racing, the tranquility of fishing, and the satisfying challenge of fixing anything that needed mending. Most of all, he cherished spending time with those he loved, embracing every opportunity to gather and share moments of joy.
Steven’s family circle includes his siblings and their spouses: Carol and Tom Buckmaster, Barbara and Keith Roach, Michael Calabrese, Nanci and Ken Rutledge, and Larry and Susie Calabrese. They, alongside Judi, Natalee, Tony, and his grandchildren, carry forward Steven's enduring spirit and the countless memories they created together.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Tony and Rose Calabrese, his nephew C.J. Calabrese, and sister-in-law Bess Calabrese, whose memories remain treasures held close in the hearts of those left behind.
