Silvia was the heart of her family. She was the beloved wife of Mario Cardenas II for over 53 years, and shared a life built on love, faith, and devotion. Together they created a family grounded in strength and unity.

She was a proud and loving mother to her son, Mario Cardenas III (Kathy), whom she adored beyond words. She supported him wholeheartedly, celebrated his accomplishments, and stood beside him through every season of life.

Being a grandmother was one of Silvia's greatest joys. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She filled their days with warmth, gentle guidance, laughter, and unwavering love. The memories they created together will forever live in their hearts.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Alexa, Sophia, Bella, Elyse, Steven Jr., Nicholas, Erica, and Lucas, and by her great‑grandchildren, Leo and Willow. Silvia also leaves behind her two stepsons, Michael and Steven Cardenas (Sandy).

Silvia had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her home was filled with comfort and kindness, and her faith carried her through life with grace. She was a loyal friend, a source of wisdom, and a steady presence for those who loved her.
