Saturio Silva, 91, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Sunday, September 15, 2024, at his home in Pembroke Pines, Fla. He was born in Colombia on May 14, 1933, to Jesus Maria Silva and Isaura Tejada.
Words cannot describe the emptiness we feel as we navigate life without him. He was the glue that held our family together, life will never be the same. He was immensely proud of his family. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted spouse of 61 years, Elcira Diaz; He is
survived by his six children, Vivian (Alvaro) Jaramillo, of New Jersey, William Silva, of Pembroke Pines, John (Marta) Silva of Miami, Sergio (Elisa) Silva of Miami, Sandra (Daniel) Sheehan of Massachusetts, and Fabio (Francis) Silva of Texas. His grandchildren: Vivian Earl
and Alvaro Jaramillo of New Jersey, Natasha Silva of Miami, Jackelyne, Michael and Bryan Silva of Miami, Ashley, Kelsey, and Ainsley Sheehan, of Massachusetts, and Zachary Silva of Texas. And his great-grandchildren; Liliana and Alexander Earl. He will also be missed by his sisters and brother and his many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
Prior to retiring, he worked for Air Agency Inc. for more than 20 years. In his early retirement, he was an entrepreneur starting his own business. After many years of operating his business, he fully retired. He enjoyed feeding ducks and swans in his backyard, word search puzzles and
watching the Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He had a passion for dogs and soccer matches. He was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. We will remember his warmth, his spirit, and the love he shared with each of us. His memory
will continue to inspire us. We will remember him forever and cherish all the wonderful, fond, and loving memories we had with him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, Fla.
