Rosa L Mena

Rosa Mena was born on May 11, 1933, in Nicaragua, the daughter of Victoria Arana, and Alberto
Jimenez. She graduated from High School in Nicaragua and completed two years of Secretarial
training. She worked for Radio Tropical before she moved to the United States.
She found boundless joy as a child caregiver after retiring from Cordis, a Johnson & Johnson
Company. Rosa was beloved by her friends; she loved to dance and travel. Anyone, who met her,
found her to be honest, courteous a truly genuine person.
She was a devoted and religious catholic and loved saying her rosary. Rosa is survived by her sister
Albertina Guzman, nephew, Daniel Guzman, cousin, Alicia Rodriguez, and other nephews & cousins.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Golden Palms Assisted Living Facility where she
was cared for, loved, and treated like part of a family by all their staff.
A memorial service will be held for Rosa at 1:15 PM on Thursday August 31, 2023, at Vista
Memorial Funeral Home, Miami Lakes Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation on
Thursday three hours prior to the service at 10:15 AM.
