Rosa M Barbon

Rosa María Barbón was born on January 29th, 1928 in Cuba. She passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 94 in Miami Florida. She was preceded in death by her father Isadoro Barbón, mother Agustina Catalá, sisters Olga Barbon-Lebredo, Gisela Barbón and Maria Barbón. She is survived by her nieces Yara Ania Fernandez Barbón, Mariolga Lebredo, Maria Elena Brunner and nephews Carlos Manuel Fernandez, Nicolas Lebredo, Jr. and Raul Barbón and their children. Rosa immigrated from Cuba in the early 1970s and lived in Hialeah, Florida for over 30 years. She studied at Barry University and received a bachelors degree in social work. She worked as a social worker for 15 years. She was a great seamstress and lived a very solitary life with a great faith in God. She had a giving and generous spirit, helping many family members in their time of need.
