Ronald William Lohr, to his family and friends known as Ronnie, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the age of 75. Ronnie, always the inventor and problem solver, proudly served in the Air Force from 1961-1965 until his honorable discharge in 1967. Ronnie, predeceased by his parents George Lohr and Dorothy Burgess and his brother Phil Lohr, is survived by his daugthers , Susy (Jon) and Sheila (Robert ) with Carolyn Bailey Pierson, son Kristopher (Christi) with Diane Kenig, and Matthew with Miriam Lohr , grandchildren Kristen, Mark, Kacie, Laura, Alexa, Steven, Shawn, Kyler and Carter. Born April 29, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, Ronnie settled in South Florida in 1949 and graduated from Hialeah High School in 1958 and attended the University of Miami in 1959. Ronnie's passion was Marine Electronics and inventing things. Throughout Ronnie's life he was constantly dreaming of ways of making the ins and outs of daily life simpler and more efficient. He will be sorely missed by family and friends, especially his dear friend Bud Ward. There will be a memorial service and viewing at the Vista Memorial Gardens Sunday, November 16th, 2014, between 6pm and 9pm for all wishing to attend.
