With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberto Morales, 70, of Miami, who passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Roberto was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and a devoted member of his church community at Église Temple de L'Éternel. Known for his kindness, compassion, and joyful spirit, he touched the lives of everyone he met. He always offered a listening ear and a supportive shoulder, especially to his youngest son, Frank Morales.
Roberto was born on January 15, 1955, in Havana, Cuba, to the late Thomas Morales, an electrician, and Marta Morales, a homemaker. He was the youngest of four siblings and is now reunited with his late sister Marta Morales and his brothers Thomas and Alfredo Morales. On January 29, 1972, he married Sonia Garcia at Saint Michael's Church in New York. They later relocated to Miami in late 1979, where Roberto built a life filled with love, hard work, and service to his community.
He is survived by his three children: Robert Morales Jr., Janette Morales, and Frank Morales. He leaves behind nine grandchildren: Richard Corosin, Brianna Morales, Emily Rosales, Janelle Morales, Robert L. Morales, Christopher Morales, Chelsea Perez, Brian Morales, and Elijah Lopez. Roberto is also survived by his former spouses: Sonia Garcia, Frances Rivera, and Elvia Morales.
A graduate of Brandice High School in 1971, Roberto went on to complete his certification in air conditioning at Apac Technical School in 1972. From 2010 to 2014 he served as an inspiring professor at ATI, where he taught air conditioning to many aspiring technicians. He later established his own business, RM Air Contractor, which became a proud achievement in his professional life.
Roberto's faith was central to his life. As an active member of Église Temple de L'Éternel, he played the drums every Sunday during services, considering the church his second family. He had a deep love for music, which brought him joy and comfort throughout his life.
Roberto Morales will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering generosity. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to use the guestbook below to express their condolences and share memories of Roberto. For those wishing to send flowers, arrangements may be made through local florists, with Bella Flor Flowers in Hialeah
