Ricardo Lavandeira

Con gran pesar lamentamos el fallecimiento de nuestro padre, Ricardo Lavandeira, a la edad de 93 años. Un increíble esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Ricardo falleció en paz el 14 de agosto de 2022, con su familia a su lado.
Ricardo emigró a los Estados Unidos desde Cuba en 1961 con el amor de su vida, Lidia y su pequeña hija Iraida. Ricardo y Lidia tendrían más hijos: Ricardo, David y Danny. Ricardo fue un esposo devoto cuya primera prioridad siempre fue su familia. La familia era su pasatiempo; llevándolos regularmente a la playa, visitando Disney World y acampando en los Cayos de Florida. Sus temas favoritos de discusión eran la política y las historias de Cuba.
Le sobrevive su esposa durante 63 años, Lidia, así como sus amados hijos (Iraida, Ricardo, David y Danny), nietos (Sandra, Mónica, Luis, Kimberly, Kellie, Richard, Antoinette y David) y bisnietos (Jonathan, Christian, Liza, Isabella y Angelina).

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our father, Ricardo Lavandeira at the age of 93 years old. An amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ricardo passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022, with family at his side.
Ricardo migrated to the US from Cuba in 1961 with the love of his life, Lidia and their infant daughter Iraida. Ricardo & Lidia would have more children – Ricardo, David and Danny. Ricardo was a devoted husband whose first priority was always his family. Family was his hobby; regularly taking them to the beach, visiting Disney World and camping in the Florida Keys. His favorite topics of discussion were politics and stories of Cuba.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lidia as well as his beloved children (Iraida, Ricardo, David and Danny), grandchildren (Sandra, Monica, Luis, Kimberly, Kellie, Richard, Antoinette and David), and great grandchildren (Jonathan, Christian, Liza, Isabella & Angelina).
