Randall Lee Rubiera

Randall Lee Rubiera, 65, of Hialeah, FL, passed away Thursday morning, January 22, 2015, at Memorial Regional Hospital. Randy was born on October 30th, 1949 to Celestino P. Rubiera Jr. and Irma Weyer Rubiera. Randy graduated from Hialeah High School class of 67, and briefly played football for the University of Miami. Randy went into Law Enforcement beginning a career that lasted 38 years. He worked for the City of Hialeah for 13 years, and the Town Of Medley for 25 years, retiring as a Captain in 2009. Randy is survived by his wife, Carol, married 43 years. He is survived by his two children; Daughter: Melissa Rubiera, Son: Timothy (Catherine) Rubiera, 1 Granddaughter: Celest; 3 grandsons: Timothy, Bryan and Garrett; Sister: Debra (Robert) Duke and Brother: Jeff (Cary) Rubiera. Randy was preceded in death by his parents: Celestino and Irma Rubiera. Donations may be made in Randy's name to: Police Officers Assistance Trust.
