Philip A. Walters, 69, of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends.

Philip was known for his calm demeanor, gentle spirit, integrity, and unwavering sense of honor. He had a deep appreciation for nature and found great joy in cultivating a thriving garden filled with fruits and vegetables. He also loved the ocean and found peace in its beauty, sounds, and tranquil surroundings.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Philip touched many lives through his kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength. His love for family, faith, and the simple blessings of life will remain a lasting legacy to all who knew and loved him.

Philip is survived by his beloved wife, Sophia Vincent; his children, Anika Walters, Alex Walters, Philip Jr. Walters and spouse Clyde Walters, and Roel Walters and wife Chelsea Walters; and his cherished grandchildren, Phoenix Walters and R.J. Walters.

He is also survived by his brother, Clive Walters and wife Federicka Walters; his sisters, Dorothy Walters and Mary Walters; his nephews, Adrian Walters and spouse Glorimar Walters, and Joel Walters and spouse Tiffany Walters; his niece, Corieta McGlashen; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters inlaw, Jackie Brown, Angel Blaize, Jane Vincent, and Lauren Jean Baptiste; his brothers inlaw, Martin Vincent, Joseph Vincent, David Vincent, and Julian Vincent; his cousin inlaw, Marah Vincent; and many extended family members whose lives were enriched by his love and friendship.

Philip's gentle laughter, warm smile, and loving presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Though he is no longer with us in body, his love, faith, and cherished memories will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
