PASTOR ADOLFO GONZALEZ, 92, of Bellingham, WA, passed away, Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born in Havana, Cuba on July 26, 1929. He lost his mother at the age of three, and his father at the age of fifteen. He met his wife, Asuncion, at the age of twenty-three and he married at twenty-five, and have been together since – 76 yrs. He truly lived the American dream. He came to the US from Cuba in 1959 during the Castro revolution, along with his wife Asuncion and son Jesus A. Gonzalez. They moved to Yonkers, New York where their daughter Sandra was born. The family moved to Florida in 1969 where he where he held several positions as a mechanic in reputable transportation companies. He supported his family, raised two children, and put them both through college. He later retired and along with his wife and they were fortunate to care for the grandchildren while the parents worked. He made a significant joyous impact to their lives. In 2015, he and his wife moved to Washington state to follow his daughter and the youngest of the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Asuncion; his two children Sandra and her husband Bill, Jesus and his wife Aymee; his 7 grandchildren; Michael, Michelle, David, Bianca, Billy, Ryan, and Jason; several great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. All who knew him, knew he had a fulfilled and happy life. He was always smiling!

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 25 at 8:30 am at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014.
