Oscar Enrique Estrada

It's with great sorrow, the Estrada family announces the passing of our kind and generous husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, Oscar Enrique Estrada, 59, of Miami,FL. Oscar passed away on March 4,2023 unexpectedly in Ocala, FL. Oscar was born on June 8,1963 to Pedro Modesto Estrada and Dixie Anasberta Pita in Bronx, New York.

After Oscar graduated from Hialeah High in 1982, he went on to the Police Academy at Miami Dade College. Oscar went on to get his private investigator license. In 2006, Oscar met Karina Fuentes in Miami,FL and after years of friendship, they became each other's world . Oscar had one daughter that he loved with all his heart, Krystal Estrada. Oscar is survived by his siblings: Sofia Castro (Bobby Castro), Danny Estrada (Annie Estrada), Hector Estrada (Enrilein Donate), and Daisy Valdes.  His nieces and nephews that he loved so much.

Ever since he was a kid, Oscar enjoyed watching, coaching, and playing sports. As a young man, Oscar was involved with the Khoury League serving as a coach. Oscar loved the excitement of the field and seeing his ball players evolve in the game of baseball. His relationship with everyone that was involved in the league (parents, players, coaches) continued till his death. In addition, Oscar enjoyed cooking and seeing others taste his delicious food, as he used to say, "I learned to cook from watching my mother."

Services will be held at Vista Memorial on March 11, 2023, between 6pm-10 pm.
