Onelia Rodriguez

Onelia Rodriguez. 87, resident of Hialeah Florida passed away Friday November 10th, 2023 with her loving daughter and sister by her side.
She was born in Matanzas, Cuba on June 12th, 1936, to the late Alberto S. Hernandez & Maria del Carmen Santana. She pursued her Doctorate Degree in Education In La Universidad de la Habana but was forced to immigrate due to the Cuban Revolution in the early 1960's. She married the late Jose Manuel Rodriguez and moved to Los Angeles California where she and her husband had a daughter Ileana.
The family moved back to Hialeah, Florida where they lived happily for over forty years. Onelia dedicated her life to her family and to helping others. A legacy she leaves with her children and grandchildren.
Onelia is survived by her loving daughter Ileana Rodriguez-Ramirez and grandson Christopher Ramirez. She also is survived by her beloved sister Libia Lopez.
