Olga Medina, 83, of Pinar del Río, Cuba, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 surrounded by her loving daughters. Born on March 18, 1943 in Pinar del Río Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo Ferran and Maria Julia Guerra.

In 1971, at the age of 28, Olga courageously fled Cuba with her two young daughters, Olga Maria and Olga Lidia, and began a new life in New Jersey. She was joyfully reunited with her husband, Virginio Medina, in 1980.

Olga worked as a paraprofessional at M.A Milam Elementary School until her retirement. She cherished traveling with her family and relaxing with her favorite telenovelas.

Olga is survived by her two lovely daughters, five wonderful grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
