Norma Caranci Robert, 88 passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, surrounded lovingly by her family. She was born on April 3,1933 in North Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Libero and Maria (Medeiros) Caranci. Norma graduated from North Providence High School in 1950. She left Providence to work in Washington, D.C. where she met Marcel Joseph Robert. Norma and Marcel Married in 1953 and were married 63 years when Marcel passed away in 2016. In addition to Marcel, she was predeceased by her sons, Leo Mitchell, Norman Anthony, Christopher Carl, Joseph John, and Larry Augustine. She is survived by her 8 living children, Marcel Joseph, "Robby", and his wife Jackie, Maryjane Nielsen (Glen), Norma Caroline, Russell Martin, Cherie Mae, Marceline Ann ,Paul James, and his wife Liz, and Jason Noel. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, soon to be 3 great grandchildren. Norma earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1978 and was awarded the prestigious Who's Who in American Junior Colleges for Writing on the topic of religion. She volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister in her church for many years. She also worked as a home health aide until her mid 70's.

A viewing will be held on Monday December 13,2021 from 6 p.m. until 10p.m. at Vista Memorial Gardens Funeral Home; 14200 N.W. 57 ^th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. A Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday morning, December 14,2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church; 1805 Pierce Street, Hollywood, FL 33020. A burial will be held following the funeral mass (1:30 p.m.) at Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery; 14200 N.57 ^th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL. 33014.
