Norma Perez, age 69, died on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at UM Hospital and Clinics, Miami, Florida. Born in Managua, Nicaragua on March 28, 1950 to Pablo (deceased) and Ines Perez, she was the oldest of three children. She attended Cristo Rey Catholic School. On May 3, 1969 she married Mario Soza and relocated to the United States. Together they had three daughters. She was a devout daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, grandmother, and friend. She worked as a secretary at Social Security Administration. Although not a photographer by profession, she used the camera to capture many beautiful family memories. Coming into the age of technology, she took up Facebook where she kept in contact with many family members and friends from different parts of the world, but especially her homeland, Nicaragua. As many have said on Facebook, she was a warrior fighter who fiercely battled multiple myeloma for over 15 years. She lived life to the fullest and inspired hope in everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her mother Ines, her sister Maria Haydee, her brothers Juan Pablo(Maria Rene), Pablo, and Emilio (Alicia), her daughters Norma (Nelson), Rita (Robert), Julieta (Jack), her nieces Xelny (Nelson) and Gabriela, her grandchildren Natalie, Joshua, Nathan, Tatiana, Miguel, her grand-nieces Angela, Xelnita, Sarita, Ariadna and Isabella, her grand-nephew Nelson Jose, and many more cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 18, 2019 beginning with a Mass at 11:30am at St. Monica's Divine Mercy Chapel 3490 NW 191 Street, Miami Gardens, FL 33056. The family will greet friends on Sunday November 17, 2019 at Vista Funeral Homes, 14200 NW 57 Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida 33014 from 6pm to midnight. The family would like to extend our gratitude to all at UM Hospital and Clinics for their attentiveness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Norma's name. Norma Pérez, de 69 años, falleció el jueves 14 de noviembre de 2019 en UM Hospital and Clinics, Miami, Florida. Nacida en Managua, Nicaragua, el 28 de marzo de 1950, hija de Pablo (fallecido) e Inés Pérez, era la mayor de tres hijos. Asistió la escuela católica Cristo Rey. El 3 de mayo de 1969 se casó con Mario Soza y se mudó a los Estados Unidos. Juntos tuvieron tres hijas. Ella era una hija, hermana, tía, madrina, abuela y amiga devota. Aunque no era fotógrafa, usó la cámara para capturar muchos hermosos recuerdos familiares. Al entrar en la era de la tecnología, tomó Facebook donde se mantuvo en contacto con muchos familiares y amigos de diferentes partes del mundo, pero especialmente de su tierra natal, Nicaragua.
