Mary P Slusher

Mary P. Slusher, 81 of Hialeah, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2026, surrounded by the love she spent a lifetime giving to others.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Richard C Slusher, her siblings, James Pinder, Ann Clackum, and John Pinder.

Mary is survived by her devoted children: her son, Richard C Slusher II and his wife, Luly Slusher, as well as her daughter, Traci Slusher-Sweeten and her husband David Sweeten.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida.  Mary remained there throughout her life, building a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love.  She dedicated her career to nurturing young minds as a kindergarten teacher, touching countless lives with her patience, kindness and gentle guidance.

Mary was the pillar of her family, the one who brought everyone together and made every gathering feel like home.  She cherished traveling with her loved ones and creating lasting memories, embracing each chapter of life with grace and devotion.

Her legacy lives on through the family she raised, the children she taught and the many hearts she touched along the way.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
