In Loving Memory of Martin Antonio Salzedo
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Martin A. Salzedo. He departed
this world on September 1, 2023, surrounded by family peacefully after a courageous
battle with cancer.
Born on August 1, 1945, in Cienega, Colombia, and later immigrating to the United
States, he embarked on a remarkable journey in the cruise industry. He was a beloved
figure whose legacy will forever be etched in the maritime world.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Jane Salzedo; his loving daughters, Danielle V. Salzedo
and Natasha A. Salzedo; son-in-law, Jason Dale; granddaughters, Skylar J. Dale and
Jordan S. Dale; siblings, Cecilia Salzedo, Maria C. Salzedo, Pedro P. Salzedo, and Tuchie
Salzedo; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. His parents, Martin
Salzedo Campo and Maria T. Angarita Salzedo, and his brother Joaquin Salzedo, have
predeceased him.
Martin's character was a reflection of his profound Catholic faith. He will always be
remembered for his warmth and kindness that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
His memory will forever sail on in our hearts.
