Maria Irma Garcia, 91, of Miami, Fl. Passed away on Saturday, August 15, ,

She was born in Bogota, Colombia on May 30, 1935 of Parents Augustine

Guarin and Barbara Guarin-Cabrera. Maria was married to Alvaro Garcia Sr.

on October 27, 1957, and they celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Maria worked at Burdines/Macy for 20 years as a human resource coordinator

and was a dedicated Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and friend to

many. Her genuine kindness and contagious smile will be missed.

Maria is survived by her children Irma Garcia (deceased); Alvaro Garcia Jr.;

Jimmy Garcia; Claudia Garcia. She is also survived by her two grandchildren

Jaime and Kevin.

Viewing will be held on August 27, 2026 during the hours of 10 -11am at

Vista Funeral Home, 5755 NW 142nd Street, Miami, Fl. 33014. A grave sight

burial will follow.

Maria trabajó en Burdines/Macy durante 20 años como coordinadora de

recursos humanos y fue una esposa, madre, hermana, tía, abuela y amiga

entregada de muchos. Su amabilidad genuina y su sonrisa contagiosa serán

echadas de menos.

María deja en vida a sus hijos Irma García (fallecida); Álvaro García Jr.; Jimmy

García; Claudia García. También le sobreviven sus dos nietos, Jaime y Kevin.

El velatorio tendrá lugar el 27 de agosto de 2026 entre las 10 y las 11:00 en
