Magali C Landestoy

Magali Landestoy, 80, of Hialeah, FL, passed away on November 5 th , 2022 after a short battle with
dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Magali was born on April 30, 1942 to Elvira Aida and Marcial Luis Dominguez in Ciego de Avila, Cuba. She
came to the United State at the ripe age of 28 in 1970, with her son, Phil Monzon and her brother Carlos
Dominguez. A year later her mom and dad came and a short while later her other brother Angel
Dominguez and his late wife.
In 1978, Magali met Pedro Landestoy and they married shortly after. They gave birth to their daughter,
Ivette Landestoy in 1979.
Magali and Pedro were proud business owners and owned several businesses while they were in their
working years. They finally retired in 2006. Magali would always be remembered for how much she
loved to laugh and enjoy life. One of her favorite hobbies was listening to music with her brothers and
going to gamble at the casino.
Magali is preceded in death by her beloved brother, Carlos Dominguez, who left us in Februrary of this
year. Magali is survived by her daughter, Ivette Landestoy, her son, Phil Monzon, her sister-in-law,
Melba Monzon, her granddaughters, Natalie Monzon and Michele Rodriguez and her brother Angel
Dominguez.
There will be a viewing at 6 pm on Tuesday, November 15 th , 2022 at Vista Memorial Funeral Home at
5755 NW 142 Street, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. The burial will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday November 16 th ,
2022.
