Luis Fernando Lopez

Luis Fernando Lopez, of Hialeah, FL, passed away February 23, 2020 at the age of 43. He was born March 9, 1976, in Passaic, NJ to Luis Fernando and Xiomara Lopez.

He graduated from Hialeah High School in 1994 and went on to work in the television industry before changing careers to work in security. He enjoyed bass fishing and riding his motorcycles, especially his Harley. He loved working with his hands and could fix and build just about anything with a motor. He prided himself on being able to bring things that had been discarded or broken back to life. He took pleasure in helping others, especially those that needed it most. His friends knew him as "Flaco" and he held onto that nickname. He loved his family dearly and they loved him so much. His life and his light touched so many.

He is survived by his beloved wife Kristin Ann Nichols-Lopez; his daughter Taylor Ann and his son Zachary Louis; his sister Frances Arce and his nieces and nephews Michael, Adriene and Haley; his Abuela Neida Bravo and his loving parents Xiomara and Fernando Lopez.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly ask that donations be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
