She was born to the late Frank and Lucille Haag on November 8, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. Lucille graduated from North Miami Senior High School in June of 1960. She was married to the late Gary William Ross on January 23, 1965 and they resided in Hialeah, Florida. She was widowed in 1985 and remained faithful to her husband until her passing on the same exact day as her beloved Gary 40 years later. She is survived by her sister Mary Lynn Lucier and her husband Bill of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and was preceded in death by her brother Robert Frances Haag of Miramar, Florida. She is also survived by her two children Michael Allan Ross and his wife Shannon of Orlando, Florida and Linda Marie Buckner and her husband Stephen of Milledgeville, Georgia, as well as her seven grandchildren, Johnathan, Taylor, Ethan, Sydney, Ainsley, William, and Alexa.
Lucille worked as a switchboard telephone operator for Southern Bell out of high school and was a stay home mom successfully raising both Michael and Linda. She later would return to work following her husband's passing and became a dedicated bookkeeper for the oldest mirror company in the United States for over 35 years, Friedman Brothers Mirror and Glass Company.
Lucille was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church since 1965 and attended mass every Sunday with family and friends, often enjoying brunch after the service with her church group of friends.
