"To Everything There is a Season" – Ecclesiastes 3:1"
After living a beautifully rich and fulfilling life, our beloved mom left us on March 6 at the age of "99 and a half"! Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and her legacy will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know her.
Family was the heart of her world. She was a joy to be around always radiating laughter and love. She listened patiently to our stories, offering unwavering support for every decision we made. Through her, we learned the invaluable lessons of faith, hard work, and resilience.
She found simple joy in the things she loved sewing, reading, and tending to her garden.
Even after retiring, she embraced adventure, traveling with us across the country twice and visiting numerous international destinations. When she turned 90, Jim suggested that Mom and I travel to France for two weeks. We navigated the country by trains, Uber, and pedicabs, and through it all, Mom remained a good sport never once complaining.
For nine years, she showed extraordinary patience and compassion in caring for her husband, Carlos, as he battled Alzheimer's.
She faced every challenge with grace, dignity, and unwavering faith an inspiration to us all.
As we celebrate the life of this remarkable woman, let us take comfort in the promise that we will meet again in eternity with Christ.
