Juan H. Fernandez Nuñez

Juan Humberto Fernandez – Nunez, 79 years old, passed away on April 18, 2024, at his home, with his family by his side.

He was born in La Lima, Baitoa, República Dominicana, on June 12, 1944, to Jose and Fresolina Fernandez. He was married to Olga A. Fernandez on February 26, 1967, and had one son. They moved to New York City where they had 3 daughters. In 1987 he relocated his family to Hialeah, Florida, where he spent his final days.

He worked diligently to support his family and was an advocate lover of the New York Yankees. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth, July and Rosana, and his 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on April 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at Vista Memorial and burial on April 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Caballero Rivero Dade North.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to help with funeral expenses.
