Jose Luis Lopez Jr.

Jose Luis Lopez Jr, 28, of Hialeah, Florida entered his eternal rest on June 25th, 2020.  A life-long resident of Hialeah, he was an alumnus of Immaculate Conception School, Monsignor Edward Pace High School and Miami Dade Community College.

Jose was one of the kindest, big hearted people you would ever hope to meet and was truly a gentle giant. He loved country music, having fun with friends and family and was always willing to help a friend or stranger.  As his brother David puts it, he was simply AMAZING.  Jose was a first responder and worked as an EMT with NHT Transport services.  He put his life on the line for his work and died a hero after battling COVID 19.

He was predeceased by his father, Jose Luis Lopez Sr. who passed in 2003.

Along with an army of family and friends that simply adored him, Jose leaves behind his mother Sadye, brother David, grandfather Juan Sanchez, and the love of his life, his girlfriend Vanessa Trujillo.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First Responders Children's Foundation in Jose's memory.
