Jorge H. Yesan, 81 of Hialeah, passed away December 9, 2023.
He was born in Piura, Peru on November 10, 1942. He was married to Conchita Yesan on September 16, 1972.
Jorge was a proud United States Postal Service Letter Carrier until he retired in 2008. He was passionate about his Peruvian culture and history, an avid reader, Miami Dolphins fan for life and a lover of Bossa Nova and The Beatles. It was rare to see Jorge and not hear his beloved 'The Girl from Ipanema' playing in the background. Always led by his curiosities, Jorge never stopped pursuing his desire to learn something new every day about world current events or history, with a side of tea and good music. Jorge had many sayings that resonated with those who knew him, but the most memorable one was "El que estudia, triunfa!".
He will be greatly missed, but is in Heaven rejoicing in God's presence.
Jorge is survived by his wife, Conchita Yesan and his children; Elizabeth Lazo, Christian Yesan, Stephanie Yesan, his son-in-law Albert Lazo, and his grandchildren Aidan and Luke Lazo.
Burial will be held on Thursday, December 14th 10:30AM at Vista Memorial Gardens
