John Alexander Hungler

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, John Alexander Hungler on May 17, 2020.

John was born in Miami Beach, Florida on November 13, 1992 to parents Annette Conklin Hungler and Steven Hungler. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his two young children, his brother, Daniel Hungler, his grandmother, his girlfriend and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

John loved being with his family and friends. He loved his children more than anything in this world. He had a great love of adventure and the great outdoors. He had a passion for cars, especially Ford Mustang's, and all things mechanical. In his free time he rebuilt or repaired anything or could be seen in various physical activities. He would often volunteer his time to help others whenever necessary.

John grew up in the Boy Scout program, which was a family activity. His love of the outdoors, through the Boy Scout program, led to him attending The National Camporee at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia in 2010 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Boy Scouts. That year, John reached the highest rank in Boy Scouts becoming an Eagle Scout. John was also a member of The Order of the Arrow--The National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America.

John attended American High School. He played percussion in the band and later bass drums in the marching band. He later attended Sheridan Technical College where he received The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence Certification (ASE).

John was just getting started in life. He recently started his own business, Miami Auto Technologies. Shortly before his passing, John was enjoying a great position working for FPL where he planned to build his career.  He had many goals he wanted to accomplish and was always striving to make a better life for his family.

John was dearly loved and will truly be missed forever by his family, friends, and especially his children
