Joaquin Cliff Mcintosh

Joaquin Cliff McIntosh , 42, of Pembroke Pines went to heaven March 9, 2022.

He was born to the late Gene and Miriam McIntosh in Hialeah, Florida on November 4th , 1979. Joaquin
graduated from McArthur High School and received an Associate degree from Broward Community College. He
held various Fire protection licenses and belonged to the National Fire Protection Association, Society
of Fire Protection Engineers, and the National Fire Sprinkler Association.

His career started in 2000 with A-1 Fire & Equipment in the positions of Designer, Project Manager,
Estimator. In 2013 became the Director of Fire Sprinkler Operations with A1 Fire and Security. In 2017
Joaquin and his brother, Moses started their own business A-1 Fire Protection, LLc.
Joaquin is survived by his daughter Zoe McIntosh of Pembroke Pines, stepdaughter Sofia Cabrera in the
US Navy stationed in Washington and stepson Alex Cabrera in the Air Force stationed in Pearl Harbor
Hawaii. Also survived by his mother Miriam, brother Moses, grandmother Ofelia, Uncle Alfredo
Masson, and various cousins in Florida and, his paternal family in Kentucky aunts Carol, Sandy and Tracy
and various cousins.
He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, boating, diving, camping, mudding. He loved Florida's
Everglades and Ocean as well as Kentucky's woods and caves. He was always smiling and with a caring
spirit towards others and adored his daughter.
