James Andrew Stevenson

James Stevenson of Miami Lakes was the loving son of Joan and Walter (deceased) Stevenson of New Jersey, loving husband of Anne Marie, loving father of Alex and Dennis, loving "Boomer" grandfather of Miles, loving sibling to. Kathy, Tommy, Elaine , John and  uncle to countless nieces and nephews , passed away after a lifelong fight with complications of diabetes.

James was a pioneer recipient of groundbreaking kidney pancreas transplant x2.  Over the years he generously shared his time with other transplant recipients giving them hope. He met his health challenges with strength and courage and is thought of as a hero.

James shared his love and expertise of electronics with his sons from their preschool through their college days.  He attended all their sports games and loved them dearly.

He was a constant companion and loving husband to Anne Marie and will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held on Oct. 4th at Vista Funeral Home in Miami Lakes 6 to 10 PM.
Memorial Mass at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Miami Lakes, Fl Saturday Oct.5th at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers donation to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund ) in James Stevenson name.
