It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Israel Daniel (Danny) Roman. He passed in Athens, Georgia, on Saturday, December 23, 2023, surrounded by his wife Anna Roman, his children and daughter-in-law after a Massive Stroke. Danny was 76 years old. He was born in Havana, Cuba on September 25, 1947. He immigrated with his parents to New York City in 1961. He also lived in Los Angeles, California, Miami, Florida, and Winder, Georgia, where he has resided with his wife and family for the last 20 years.

Loving father of Sabrina, Michael, William, Albert, Ray, and Viviam Roman.
Father-in-law to Michelle Valentin, Jessica Lari-Roman, Sara Ayerdis, Kerem Bilginer, and Richard Whittle

A proud grandfather to Juliette, Jewel, Julian, Anthony, Brandon, Brianna, Isabelle Victoria, and Cailyn.

Great-grandfather to Alexander, Grayson, and Olivia.
Dear brother-in-law of George Martinez and Kimberly Martinez.
He is the son of the late Dr. Daniel Roman and Gloria Noa Roman, the son-in-law of the late Rogelio Martinez and Delia Martinez.

He is fondly remembered by his cousins, extended family, colleagues, and many great friends.

Danny was a graduate of PS 109 in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his education at Los Angeles College.

Danny pursued a career with Braniff International Airlines for 25 years. Later, he became a long-term successful executive salesman for the automotive industry, representing Lincoln, Mercury, and Ford.

Danny had many passions aside from his love of Automobiles:
Skiing, music, movies, history, storytelling, traveling, boating, cooking, and construction projects are just a few of several facets he was great at! There wasn't anything he couldn't do or had knowledge about!

He had a beautiful soul, always appreciative, respectful, and polite, and was a gentleman with the highest integrity in business and family life.
He loved to travel and take road trips with his family, cousins, and friends.
He liked watching a good action movie, documentary, or concert and catching Lawrence Welk on Saturday nights; he also loved following the evening news.
He loved holidays. Christmas was a favorite. He also loved Easter, the 4th of July, and Thanksgiving.

Most importantly, Danny's love for his family overflowed. He cherished their time together, having family dinners, playing music, singing the oldies, playing in the pool, boating, making beautiful memories, and always keeping things fun. He was passionate and proud of his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
