Obituary

Isabel Gonzalez, affectionately known as Tati, Abuela or Mama, was born on September 29, 1950 in Cuba and died on August 16, 2026.

She was the daughter of Diluvina Armada and Manuel Armada, and shared her life with her beloved husband, Mario Mondeja.

Those who knew Isabel knew she was truly unique. Proudly dramatic and always a little "drama queen," she loved to be the center of attention and knew very well how to get noticed. She was the life of the party, always ready to dance, enjoy a margarita, laugh and have a good time.

Isabel never met a stranger. She had a very special way of making friends wherever she went, and her outgoing personality made it impossible to forget her.

And if there was one thing for sure, it was that you would rarely see Isabel without her perfectly groomed hair and nails. She loved to look beautiful, enjoy life, and take that big, special personality with her wherever she went.

Her family and friends will always remember her for her laughter, her stories, her dances, the unforgettable moments and that personality capable of filling any place. Her absence will be deeply felt, but all the memories she left will continue to bring smiles to those who had the joy of loving her.

Isabel leaves behind her beloved husband, Mario Mondeja, her beloved son and daughter, all her grandchildren and nephews, as well as her entire family and the many friends whose lives she touched.

And we can't forget one of the things that Isabel loved the most: her cheetah or tiger prints. They were unmistakably hers. So every time you see a cheetah or tiger print, think of Isabel. Remind you of her bold personality, her style, and that special way she lit up any place. Just know that it's her, reminding us that she's still with us in spirit.
