Obituary

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”— 2 Timothy 4:7

Our beloved Isabel’s final earthly chapter has closed, yet we choose the hope found in Jesus Christ. As Zechariah proclaimed, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people” (Luke 1:68). Even in our sorrow, His grace continues to find us.

Isabel Rosa Carvajal, 92, of Hialeah, Florida, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord on July 29, 2026.

Born in Camagüey, Cuba, on May 24, 1934, to the late Vicente and Diomedes Dias, Isabel married the late Rodolfo Carvajal before they immigrated to Newark, New Jersey, in 1958. They later settled in Hialeah, Florida, where together they founded American Towing Service, growing it from a single truck into a respected South Florida business.

Though she was a gifted businesswoman, Isabel’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, sweet mother-in-love, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, faithful friend, and an exceptional cook whose table was always filled with warmth, laughter, and hospitality. She also treasured traveling with Rodolfo, proudly visiting all fifty states together in their RV.

Her final chapter was her sweetest. Surrounded by the love of her family and devoted caregivers, Isabel experienced God’s sustaining grace in remarkable ways. Her life reminded us that the Good Shepherd never leaves His own.

Isabel is lovingly remembered by her son, Rodolfo Carvajal; her daughter, Lisa Carvajal; three beloved grandchildren; three cherished great-grandchildren; her devoted caregivers; and many family members and dear friends.

Today we do not simply mourn a life that has ended—we celebrate a race faithfully finished. Because Isabel trusted in Jesus Christ, her final earthly breath became her first breath in the presence of her Savior.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.”— John 11:25

Soli Deo Gloria.
