Ignacio Vigo

Ignacio Vigo passed away on August 6, 2022 in Miami, Florida at the age of 93.

Ignacio was born in La Habana, Cuba on July 31, 1929, and was the son of the late Juan and Consuelo Vigo.

Like so many, he exiled Cuba in 1967 in search of a better life for his family.

Beloved and devoted husband of 46 years to Gricelia "Esther" Vigo.

Loving father of Ignacio Vigo and his wife Aracely, Consuelo Needs and her husband Steve, Angela Vigo-Sanchez and her husband Daniel, Maria Briceno and her husband Julio, and Lazaro Herrera and his wife Susana. Cherished grandfather of Laura, Ignacio "Nacho", Lily, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Talia, Jessica, Daniel, Joshua, and Brontie, along with 9 great-grandchildren.  He loved his family dearly, and was passionate about the family pets.  Ignacio was a gentle soul that chose to offer love and kindness every day to anyone that crossed his path.

A memorial service is being held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 12th, 2022 at Vista Funeral Home, Miami Lakes, Florida. Burial services will follow at 1:00 pm

Ignacio Vigo falleció el 6 de agosto de 2022 en Miami, Florida a la edad de 93 años.

Ignacio nació en La Habana, Cuba el 31 de julio de 1929, y era hijo de los difuntos Juan y Consuelo Vigo.

Como tantos, se exilió de Cuba en 1967 en busca de una vida mejor para su familia.

Amado y devoto esposo por 46 años de Gricelia "Esther" Vigo.

Amado padre de Ignacio Vigo y su esposa Aracely, Consuelo Needs y su esposo Steve, Ángela Vigo-Sánchez y su esposo Daniel, María Briceño y su esposo Julio, y Lázaro Herrera y su esposa Susana. Querido abuelo de Laura, Ignacio "Nacho", Lily, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Talia, Jessica, Daniel, Joshua y Brontie, junto con 9 bisnietos. Amaba mucho a su familia y le apasionaban las mascotas de la familia.

Ignacio fue un alma gentil que optó por ofrecer amor y bondad todos los días a cualquiera que se cruzara en su camino.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo a las 10:00 a. m. del viernes 12 de agosto de 2022 en Vista Funeral Home, Miami Lakes, Florida. Los servicios de entierro seguirán a la 1:00 p.m
