Howard D. Johnson

Those that knew Howard Johnson, knew he was respectful, kind, loving, honest, and loyal to those close to him. He always had advice for the young generation in the fire service. He was proud to serve the City of Miami Fire Department. He would show up at the fire station at 6:10 a.m. on shift days. Always shining his boots to serve as what he was, a professional! He was the most senior member at our station. I called him "The Station General." When the members would get on me, he would say to them "leave my captain alone" and he meant it!
