Guillermo E Martinez

Guillermo E. Martinez, (90), of Miami Lakes, Florida, passed away on March 2, 2024.  Guillermo was born to Eduardo and Amelia (Meña), on June 25, 1933 in Güines, Cuba.  Guillermo was a talented carpenter and loved working in his yard and garden.


Guillermo is survived by his children, Guillermo and Barbara and his nephews, Guillermo E, Nicholas, Daniel, Christian and Anthony.  Guillermo was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters and his loving wife Ada, who he now joins in Heaven.


Guillermo and Ada were passionate about donating to charities and families in need.  Their favorite charities include St. Jude and the American Cancer Society and regularly collected items for donation to charities and ministries.  Additionally, Guillermo always remembered his family and friends in Cuba and would often provide financial support.


Guillermo had a prodigious memory and was the voice for the history of the Martinez family in Cuba.   He would often regale us with stories about the family and friends in Cuba.  Sadly, that voice is now silent.


Guillermo touched many lives and was loved by his family, friends and neighbors.


May he rest in eternal peace.
