Gonzalo Morales

Gonzalo Morales of Hialeah, FL died on March 13, 2020, at his home, at the age of 85 surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Morales is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elsa, 3 children, Gonzalo, Robert and Diana, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and one more on the way. Mr. Morales was born in Cardenas, Cuba to Gonzalo and Maria Teresa.

As a Cuban exile he joined the Bay of Pigs invasion and was captured and jailed.

For many years he worked as a commercial painter throughout the North East before moving to South Florida in 1973.

He loved to travel and create memories with his family, the latest being the unforgettable crossing of two oceans on his dream Panama Canal cruise.

He loved his family, traveling and baseball. He was kind, giving, compassionate, caring, dedicated, loved and was always willing to help others. His family and friends will gather to remember him, laugh and say goodbye on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Vista Funeral Home in Miami Lakes, Florida.
