Glafira C. Munoz

Glafira C Muñoz, known to her family and friends as "Firin" passed away peacefully in her home on September 9, 2020 and is now in the Glory of the Lord at the age of 85.

She was born to José and Glafira on June 6, 1935 in Placetas, Cuba. She leaves behind four younger sisters: Josefa Gerardina, Esther María, Felicitas Elsa and Celina.

She married José Antonio Muñoz in 1963 and had two daughters: Angela María and Raquel (spouse, Edwin). Had five grandchildren: Josemanuel (spouse, Monika), Iliana (spouse, Adam), Lusinda (spouse, Joel), Alonzo and Alexander. She was blessed to have six great grandkids: Blake, Yamile, Nayeli, Jasiah, Alaia and Joshua.

Glafira loved to worship God, her family, gardening and animals. She believed a good education was very important. She graduated with several degrees including secretarial and a Master Seamstress which she later taught while living in Cuba. Along with her husband, they sacrificed leaving her parents and siblings behind to come to this country  to provide a better life for their two young daughters.

She was known to make the best "arroz con leche" (family recipe) and was the office event coordinator.

She will be deeply missed by all, until we meet again
