Eugenio Garcia, de 91 años, de Hialeah, falleció el 2 de octubre de 2025, en paz con su familia a su lado.
Nació en La Habana, Cuba.
Un devoto hombre de familia y un gran trabajador que siempre mantuvo a sus seres queridos, dedicó gran parte de su carrera a JM Tull Metals y se jubiló en 1995. Nunca se detuvo, comenzó una segunda carrera en Publix trabajando con orgullo y compromiso hasta que se jubiló a la notable edad de 89 años.
Eugenio disfrutaba entablar una conversación dondequiera que estuviera e hizo amistades a largo plazo con muchos. Activo y lleno de vida, disfrutó de la pesca en sus primeros años y se convirtió en un viajero apasionado, especialmente después de jubilarse. Realizó numerosos viajes con familiares y grupos turísticos, explorando muchos países diferentes y varios cruceros a lo largo de los años.
En sus últimos años, encontró alegría en sus caminatas diarias e ir al gimnasio, manteniendo bien su entusiasmo por la vida en sus años dorados.
A Eugenio le sobreviven su esposa de 64 años, Sofia, sus hijos, Sonia Browning, Daisy Jaime y Jorge Garcia. También le sobreviven 5 nietos Rheny, Sofia, Vanessa, Samuel, Andres y 2 bisnietos Willow y Sofia.
Será recordado por su ética de trabajo, su amor por la familia y su entusiasmo por las aventuras de la vida.
Eugenio Garcia, 91, from Hialeah, passed away on October 2, 2025, peacefully with family by his side.
He was born in La Habana, Cuba.
A devoted family man and a hard worker who always provided for his loved ones, he dedicated much of his career to JM Tull Metals retiring in 1995. Never one to slow down, he began a second career at Publix working with pride and commitment until retiring at the remarkable age of 89.
Eugenio enjoyed striking up a conversation wherever he was and made long-term friendships with many. Active and full of life, he enjoyed fishing in his earlier years and became a passionate traveler especially after retirement. He took numerous trips with family and tour groups, exploring many different countries, and several cruises over the years.
In his later years, he found joy in his daily walks and going to the gym, maintaining his zest for life well in his golden years.
Eugenio is survived by his wife of 64 years Sofia, his children, Sonia Browning, Daisy Jaime, and Jorge Garcia. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Rheny, Sofia, Vanessa, Samuel, Andres, and 2 great grandchildren Willow and Sofia.
He will be remembered for his work ethic, his love of family and his enthusiasm for life's adventures.
