Eugene (Gene) Robert Falcon

Eugene "Gene" Robert Falcon, 59, lost his long and courageous battle with soft tissue sarcoma on July 12, 2019. He was born June 5, 1960 in Havana, Cuba, the son of Eugene Falcon and Marta H. (Milian) Falcon.

Gene graduated from the University of Miami in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He loved his Miami Hurricanes.  Professionally he worked as a talent acquisition recruiter working for several accounting and consulting firms throughout his career, as well as running his own staffing and placement firm.  Gene was one of the founders of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) Miami Chapter and served on its Board of Directors.

In 1987, he married his high school sweetheart, Lourdes. They were married 32 years. Gene was an avid marathon runner and talented artist. He was also very involved in his parish of Our Lady of the Lakes, dedicating much time to service and helping others. He was known for his incredible sense of humor and optimistic nature.

Gene is survived by his wife, Lourdes, two daughters, Natalie and Stefanie, his parents, Eugene and Marta, his two brothers, Daniel and Albert, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 25 ^th , from 6 pm to 11 pm at Vista Memorial Funeral Home in Miami Lakes. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 26 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Miami Lakes. Burial will immediately follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Doral,FL.

Gene will be greatly missed and remembered forever in our hearts.
