It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, father, and son
Ersel Albert Linton, who departed this earthly realm far too soon on June 09, 2023. The loss of Ersel has
left a void that cannot be filled, but we take comfort in knowing how indelibly he touched the lives of so
many who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ersel was born on May 20 th , 1981. He was a remarkable individual with a warm heart, unwavering
kindness, infectious laughter and illuminating smile. He had strong convictions and approached life with
a firm resolve, fearlessly charting his own path through a life lived to the beat of his own drum. He was
always there with a listening ear and a helping hand, ready to offer guidance and wisdom whenever it
was needed. He was a shining example of what it meant to be a true friend. Ersel had a passion for IT
and never ceased in pursuing this dream. Sadly, he passed while completing his studies in Cyber
Security.
Ersel is survived by his sons Elijah and Ethan Linton; parents Edmingford (Eddie) and Valentine Linton;
siblings Elka (Shanna), Isaline, Lisa, Joan and Ken; nephews Kaidan, Devlin and Jalen; other family and
friends too numerous to mention. His unexpected departure has left us in a state of shock and profound
grief, as we grapple to comprehend a world without his presence.
At this time, amid our unfathomable sorrow, let us remember Ersel as the extraordinary individual he
was. His sudden passing is a reminder that life is precious and should be lived with intention, purpose,
authenticity, compassion, resolve and love - love that knows no bounds. Let us honor his memory by
rebelliously embracing life, cherishing our loved ones, and living each day with the same zest and
passion that he did. Though our hearts are heavy, let us find solace in the precious memories and the
lasting impact he made on our lives, knowing that he is in a better place watching over us; his soul did
not end in physical death and that we will indeed be with him again.
Rest in peace, dearest Ersel. We love you "more than kochon renmen labou" and will miss you, but we
will be ok. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew you. Your legacy of love, laughter,
kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire us for generations to come. Rest easy on the wings of
eternity.
