Eleanor H Schreck

Our "Angel on Earth" Eleanor May Haarr Schreck was summoned by her fellow Angels in Heaven on May 22, 2018. They told her, "Eleanor, your work here on Earth is done. We need you to help spread love to those who need love, caring to those who need caring for and feistiness to those who need to be a little feistier." Jesus agreed. And he added, "Eleanor, I need someone strong in faith, character, kindness and generosity to join my MOST FAVORITE servant Charles. Together you can spread your compassion and love throughout this world. You were a great team on Earth and now you will be an AMAZING team in Heaven." It was an offer she couldn't refuse.

Her legacy continues in her children Rodney Hoch Schreck and Karoline Evelyn Genung who she loved unconditionally with all her heart. Her beloved grandchildren, Jacqueline and Stephen Genung who brought her a tremendous amount of happiness, pride and joy. There is an endless list of people that Eleanor loved and will continue to love until they meet again.

Her husband of 56 years, Charles R. Shreck, predeceased Eleanor in October 2016. She was born to Erling Haarr from Stavanger, Norway and Theresa Endler from Budapest, Hungary on May 14, 1936 in New York. At the age of one, her family traveled to Miami because her fathers health could not withstand the cold weather. She continued living with her parents until she met and married Charles R. Schreck in 1960. She worked for Eastern Airlines and Pepsi Cola Company. However, her main "job" was raising Rodney and Karoline. After they grew up she spent her time loving and caring for elderly family members, spending time with her grandchildren and spreading her love to every one she met. Eleanor's devotion to her church and faith, her family and friends and any one she met along the way, truly qualified her an Angel her on Earth.
